The Steampunk Vector Design Kit

I really love the Steampunk aesthetics - the elegant yet sturdy materials and Victorian ornamentation - and I absolutely adore the Steampunk community's enormous creativity - and that's why it had **so much fun** creating this product! :)

The Spectacular Steampunk Vector Design Kit is a comprehensive collection of retro vector illustrations and comes with more than 110 individual elements on various topics **plus** 6 ready-to-use logo and badge templates and a ... BONUS!

These elements are actually pretty versatile: You may go for the classic and pure British "Gaslight" style, but they're also a good match with other things "retro": Create your own elegant or industrial branding concepts, romantic vintage wedding stationery, greeting cards or some creepy Frankenstein Halloween imagery - the only limit's your imagination. And here's what you get:

- 110+ illustrations and design elements (as shown in the previews) as vector (.ai CS5 and ai8-compatible .eps files) and raster images (individual .png files with transparent backgrounds) Everything's neatly packed and labeled.
- 6 ready-to-use logo and badge templates (.ai, .eps and .psd files) - all fonts are free to download (either for personal/private or any use), download links are included in a help-file which comes with the bundle
- 3 bonus textures to apply to your artwork for an authentic distressed vintage letterpress effect (.jpg and .png files with transparent backgrounds, approximately DIN A3 at 300 dpi, the rolled ink one's a little smaller)

COMPATIBILITY:

For the vector templates you need Adobe Illustrator CS2 or newer, same for the .psd files, as they use smart objects. The design elements instead are saved as Ai8-compatible vector files and thus can be used with older versions of Illustrator or other vector editing software such as Inkscape.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This is basically a vector toolkit: All elements are included as psd as well, but (as for the templates) the texts are not (re-)built in PS, but pasted in as editable smart objects. (The advantage of which is, that everything's still scalable without a loss of quality, but on the other hand you won't be able to directly edit them in Photoshop; the smart object will open an illustrator window instead.) Also, the brushes were built in and for Illustrator and (probably) won't work in vector software other than that. You can still build your own brushes using the tiles, tho. I've added longer and shorter "strings" as .png files, too.
