Gia Bold

Gia Bold is part of Gia, is a family in seven weights with unicase options and true small caps, a love song to the tech revolution of the American 1980’s. These sinewy, curved letterforms popped up all over music videos, logotypes, and upright video games of the era: NASA, The Buggles, Atari, Pong, Sega, Namco, Stern, Devo, Apple. Gia pays homage to that letterform, and is named after Gia Carangi, the iconic face of early 1980’s pop fashion.
