Carson

I wanted to relax a little with my type design and work on these sketches I'd been doing over and over for a few months. Out of those mindless sketches birthed Carson. If you want to personify Carson, he's a pretty cool kid of a typeface.

Carson is created for fun and games. He's quirky, airy and playful.
Carson lends himself to education, packaging, headline and title design as well.

Inspiration came from schools, teachers, and kids' toys.
Being a new dad opened my eyes to that world a little more.

It features a range of language support characters for the cool kids.
