One And A Half

♥ ***Creating this font started as a funny idea and became an extraordinary project for me as a mommy and a designer....***

Each letter was drawn by my little son Leonardo when he was one and a half years old (he's two now). Of course, he didn't know he was writing letters, but when I saw what Leo had created, I knew that he was imitating me at work. "Writing like mommy" So that's where the story began. A couple of days later his first font was born and I can say:

Even if this font won't end up in some fancy magazines, I'm very proud and happy that my son and I worked together on a ***serious*** project for the first time =)

The background: Our goal is to earn some money on the side to realize a horse riding holiday for Leonardo ♥ He talks about horses each and every day and wants to ride on "Papa horse" all the time. So, I thought I could give him the chance to make his dream come true. What a fun story would that be when he is older... :D As soon as we reached our goal, we're going to post a few pictures.
