However, purchase does not include the right to resell the images or files as is, or as a brush or pattern file, or to give them away for free.

Though the basis for these images were originally derived from source material that was in the public domain, these images have been significantly altered from their original version via the combining of individual pieces, as well as through extensive clipping, cropping, and editing... and therefore are not public domain images, but instead are original creations that you can not find in any catalog or public domain database.
