I discovered these in the archives this morning.
I remember taking these one wet and windy day while staying with my mother several years ago - she has a wood fire. These are actually some of the very first digital images I ever took and I had a wonderful session playing with taking photos of the open fire while moving the camera around with the shutter open... oh the freedom of instant feedback with a digital camera and not feeling like your wasting film on something frivolous!
These 14 images are the best and most glorious of the bunch.
