Textured - iBooks template

Textured is a tastefully textured iBooks Author portrait template. Its colour options make it easy to deploy for a series of books on different topics. As with all iBA Portrait templates, Textured offers a range of chapter, section, copyright, dedication, forward and individual page styles, as well as a style guide that explains the most common styles used throughout the template.

**Contents options:** (1) Auto-generating contents when iBooks format is used within iBooks or made available in the iBooks Store. (2) Template contents page that can be used when iBook is to be converted to PDF for sale on one’s own or another website.

**Colour options:** Comes with 8 colour options: red-orange, purple, pink, green, grey, deep blue, apricot and blue.

**Fonts:** Comes bundled with Libre Baskerville and Karla fonts. Libre Baskerville was designed by Pablo Impallari and Rodrigo Fuenzalida, Karla by Jonathan Pinhorn. Chapter and Heading 1 headings are in Libre Baskerville (Regular or Bold depending on size). Headings 2-5 are in Karla (Bold). Table text is also in Karla (Regular). Body text is in Libre Baskerville (Regular). These fonts are open source fonts, licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (OFL). The OFL allows use, bundling, modification and redistribution.

**Customise as you please:** You can customise iBooks Author templates as you please. For example, you can modify styles, change the layouts and colours, add your own images, and insert audio and video (audio and video function in the iBooks format but not PDF format).

**System requirements:** You need to have an Apple Mac computer with iBooks Author installed. iBooks Author is free from Apple. The templates work with the latest version of iBooks Author (2.3) as well as with other recent versions.
