ProCurves is a set of 22 presets you can use with Photoshop's Curves Feature.
A reason why you would use this instead of "actions" or scripts, is because curves allows you to preview the changes and lets you adjust the values to your need. It doesn't create a "one-size-fits-all" solution, that would look bad on a particular photo, but a flexible way to adjust your image, the way it should be. The way Adobe designed Photoshop to work.

6 CMYK Color mode only presets
11 Rgb Color mode presets
