I have always admired the Neo Impressionist painters for their dynamic and expressive use of color, especially the Pointillists from the 1890s. I can not imagine painting all those thousands upon thousands of little individual dots one at a time by hand. That would drive me crazy.
These brushes give you the option of painting a handful, hundreds, or even thousands of dots with a single swipe on a pressure sensitive tablet. The dot colors modulate randomly to create a hand painted effect and can be controlled with your foreground and background color selections.
The brushes are set up in different styles: loose dots, more organized dots, teardrop shaped daubs and several kinds of natural dash and dot brush strokes.
There are even a few that will let you paint one little dot at a time if you are the kind of person with a lot more patience than me!
