Custom Logo Design

Every business needs a logo to be easily recognisable and remembered. It is the signature of a company and is the most important design aspect in your marketing and promotional strategy. Thus, a professionally designed logo is vital for success in this technological world today.

I love creating fonts but my other passion has always been creating logos for new businesses. It’s so exciting for you and I absolutely love being included in the foundation of a new company. I have been creating logos for many years now, 16 to be exact, and my enthusiasm for the creative process never dies. I have worked with so many small businesses and I can confidently say that I have a deep understanding of what is needed to create a professional and apt logo design.

*So, let me explain the design process which will result in a perfect logo for your company.*

**COMMUNICATION**

Once you have ordered there will be several things that I will need to know as there are many things to take into account when designing a logo. Colour and font selection are a couple of examples because they can invoke emotions which may have an adverse effect on what you are trying to achieve. So to help me understand what your needs are, I have created a questionnaire which is included in the download.

**RESEARCH**

I will not only need your company name but also information on what your business is all about. What products you make or service you provide. You may specialise in a specific area of an industry or abide by a certain ethic such as, not using plastics in your products or packaging. I will research everything to give me a greater understanding of your company, which will infuse inspiration for my initial logo designs.

**BRAINSTORMING**

With as much research as I can gather I will begin to conceptualise ideas and narrow them down into possible design directions. Choosing the concepts that I feel are most suited to your company. Some of you may prefer your logo to portray a relaxed or fun attitude, whilst others may request a formal/luxurious design. Either way, they will all portray professionalism.

**SKETCHING AND DEVELOPMENT**

From my chosen concepts I will begin to develop these ideas further into designs.

**DESIGNS**

I will choose several logo designs from the Sketching and Development stage and create them digitally, tidying them up and finishing them off to look the best that they can. I will send to you at least 3 designs for you to choose from and will make any requested changes until you are happy with it.

**DELIVERY**

Once you have approved the final design I will supply you with your logo files in the following formats (in high resolution):

- .EPS Vector
-. AI Vector
- .PSD Layered Photoshop file
- .JPG
- .PNG
- .PNG in black
- .PNG in white

Please don’t hesitate to request other formats - if my software can convert to the required format then it’s no problem for me to add that to the existing files.

**TURNAROUND TIME (5+ days)**

It’s difficult to gauge how long it will take to complete a logo. However, I will always aim to get the choice of designs to you within 5 days and we will go from there.
